To The Editor:
The weather was fabulous and more than 3,500 people came to the 49th annual Mad River Valley Craft Fair to see art of all kinds under the tents at Kenyon’s Field. We’d like to thank the businesses that donated door prizes, our bands, the food, beer and spirits vendors and, of course, the 105 artists that participated.
We were featured on Channel 4 and WDEV with live interviews and our new Instagram account helped draw bigger crowds. We offered free smartphone and weaving workshops that were well attended. On behalf of myself and the Valley Players’ board, thank you for supporting the craft fair, the annual event that helps fund live theater in the Mad River Valley If you missed it, we’ll be back in one year for our 50th anniversary: Save the date for the Mad River Valley Craft Fair, September 5 and 6, 2020.
