To The Editor:
On behalf of the Central Vermont Pioneers Sled Hockey Team, I would like to thank everyone who supported us in our first You Bet Your Ice fundraiser. On April 10 at 4:35 p.m., the outhouse fell through the ice. Congrats to Jito Coleman with a winning time of 4:48 p.m. Second place went to Sally Reisner with a time of 4:20 p.m. Not only did we raise a little bit of money to help us with equipment and ice time, but we also got great exposure of what sled hockey is about. We would specifically like to thank the Mad River Valley Rotary for their support and help with this event as we could not have done it without their assistance. Thank you all for supporting our team and we look forward to next year.
