To The Editor:
It is my pleasure to endorse Ed Read for state representative of Washington County. I have known Ed for more than 30 years. It is an honor to call him my friend and a privilege to have him as our state representative. Ed is honest, straightforward and tenacious in his efforts to get to the crux of the matter. I most admire Ed's heart; whether he is coaching baseball, leading a town meeting or responding to a property crisis – Ed is there for us. Although Ed and I have not always agreed on issues, I have always respected his willingness to listen, his depth of understanding, his great humor and his commitment to a balanced approach for the betterment of our community. I encourage you to learn more about Ed's work on our behalf and vote for him on November 6.
