Ed Read takes a balanced, responsible approach to advocating for our district. A small business owner with ski and tourism experience, extensive public service including as an elected official serving on the Fayston Select Board for 16 years, Ed’s experience positions him well to understand the issues that impact our quality of life and economy, locally and statewide.
Ed understands employers’ needs and how a robust economy and prospering businesses help us afford the clean environment needed to maintain our quality of life and attract visitors from around the world.
Ed is respected by fellow legislators, digs into complex issues and speaks up. I’ve seen Ed at the State House opposing legislation that would have hurt our largest local employers. This is responsible representation, understanding the issues and how they affect us.
Ed works hard with integrity, honesty and transparency to represent us in Montpelier. Let’s keep him there.
