To The Editor:
We have two of the best to represent us in the state Legislature, Maxine Grad, who has served us for 18 years, and Kari Dolan, who will come on board to work as a team to champion public safety, affordability and criminal justice. Maxine's experience has focused on legislation for assault victims, children, families, youth and reforming criminal justice, among many other issues affecting our citizens.
Coupled with Kari's experience on the Vermont Clean Water Initiative and the state environmental Conservation Commission, they will be a strong voice for core Democratic values. They want to put more money in working people's pockets by increasing the minimum wage, providing family leave, bills that would help working Vermonters but were blocked by the governor and sustained by his Republican allies in the House last year. Let's move forward with two of the best!
