To The Editor:
The November general election is so very important to all of us here in The Valley.
Our state continues to be in serious financial difficulty with a static no-growth population; we are the second oldest state in the nation; and our younger people are forced to leave because they cannot find good, long-term career employment.
Sadly, many in our state Legislature feel spending more of our money by raising taxes is the way out of our problems. Most of them have never run a business, like Ed Read.
We need an independent voice in our Legislature that places the people first, not party first. We need a legislator who will vote what is good for those he represents and not simply follow their own party dictates and party pressure.
Please consider your vote to return Ed to the Legislature in 2019.
