To The Editor:
As a client of Ed’s, I always enjoyed our interactions, finding him to be very open, honest and fair in the way he conducted his business. More recently, I really came to know and respect him as a colleague on the Fayston Select Board. On that board, I witnessed his unwavering commitment to the community, his fiscal understanding and responsibility, an engaging management style and an inclusive approach to problem solving. If you’ve read his legislative reports in The Valley Reporter, you know that he clearly articulates the issues, calls things as he sees them and is not afraid to speak out in defense of the things he feels are important to our community and the state. And he does this with a sense of humor, something so lacking on the political scene these days.
