To The Editor:
The sermon printed in The Valley Reporter of August 30 by the Reverend Sister Laurian Seeber demonstrates the potential power for good within parishioners of organized religions. Her sensitivity to moral issues in our society/habitat shows a path to improvement – all based on millennial tenets of charity, love and citizens’ obligations as well as rights. The hierarchy of all established religions could and should do much more to point out such issues to their congregations and to stimulate their actions in the direction of perfection – a la Sister Laurian.
