To The Editor:

Clean water contributes to the state’s $2.5 billion tourism industry, to wildlife habitats and our health. The Department of Environmental Conservation reports that the use of 15 percent of our lakes and 20 percent of our streams are limited by pollution. There is still work that needs to be done.

I believe Kari Dolan as our state representative would work hard to improve the quality of our water.  She has 25 years of experience in water resource management. Kari currently directs the Clean Water Initiative, a multimillion-dollar water resources restoration program that tracks and reports on the progress in cleaning up our waterways. She would be a strong and effective voice in Montpelier.

I encourage you to vote for Kari Dolan for state representative on November 6.
