To The Editor:

Warren, where Senator Pat Leahy first announced his run for the U.S. Senate and where U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders marches in the Fourth of July parade, voted 39-9 to ask the Vermont senators and congressmen to seek legislation where assault rifles will be outlawed across the U.S. Citing that Dick’s Sporting Goods will take them off the shelves and L.L. Bean will as well, the discussion included a call to rescind the Second Amendment and all the NRA arguments for keeping the AK-15 available in stores. After the moderator called for yea and nay with loud shouting, a hand vote carried the day in favor of the motion.
