To The Editor:

This letter is addressed to Dear Neighbors,

I encourage you to vote for Sue Minter for governor. Sue is a smart, hard-working and compassionate person, deeply committed to supporting Vermonters and solving problems.

Sue did an amazing job supporting our neighbors and communities as the state recovery officer as we dug out from Irene’s devastating impacts that included lives lost, isolated towns and damage to 500 miles of roads, 200 bridges and 3,500 homes and businesses.

Sue was picked to be transportation agency secretary because of her experience and reputation for getting things done. She targeted crumbling bridges, so that Vermont can avoid the risk of bridge failures we have seen occur in other states.

Sue understands local issues and is a big advocate for local businesses and agriculture, vitally important for our agricultural and tourism economy. She also is a strong supporter of clean water for all to enjoy.
