To The Editor:

I find it rather amusing that even with all the experts, studies, etc., given the exact funding the special committee requested, given the land for free, we still need more money! Surely they must be terrified to go back to the town voters for more money. More so, since they could have bought an entire building that would work perfect for almost the new money request. But then the survey that I did, which matched the first vote perfectly, was called "a junk box survey" by Brian Shupe, one the leaders for the special committee. And when I asked to have another site on the vote was told "Of course the voters would want something less expensive!" so everything was done to keep it off the ballot for voters.

I would have had a ton more respect if people said, "Look, we want an amazing town office; we don't care about the costs." Citizens often care about costs and how money is spent, because they have to pay the bill.
