I have rarely seen such a generous offer to be matched: $400,000 for the Mad River Valley Community Fund to help when the next challenge hits our Valley. This offer will be matched, dollar for dollar, until January 15.
I see the good the community fund does often and particularly after Irene when so many were helped with extraordinary costs to rebuild and recover. That is why I feel compelled to write and ask you to give what you can when your gift will be matched. I recently asked if the match was fully used and was told they have about halfway to go. So I decided to reach out and ask you to give if you can.
