To The Editor:

I have been with Boy Scout Troop 700 for one year now. I believe that boys should join Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. You can learn a lot of things in life and can be one notch ahead of your peers. Scouts teaches you things that you don't learn in school; for example, canoeing, first aid, using a map and compass, building a fire, winter camping, how to budget your money and how to be a good citizen. These are a few things that I have learned.

Boy Scouts are led by the scouts and we have two scout leaders, Rick and Steve, who are kind and supportive. Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are really worth our time and once you join you will be very glad you did.
