To The Editor:
I would like to congratulate our two new select board members here in Waitsfield.
I commend you for taking on the responsibility of the position and wading into such muddy waters as it appears the town is in deep right now. I hope you can all work in unison and bring our town back to reality and out of fantasy land that we have been in the past several years. I agree we don’t have all the amenities of a city and we shouldn’t expect them. This is a small rural town in Vermont. And let's keep it that way. If you want all the bells and whistles you should live in the city, not in Waitsfield. We must realize the difference between the word want and the word need and assign a higher priority to the highway of needs and forget wants for a while. I wish Chris and Scott great success in their new endeavor.
