The Harwood Union alpine ski team hosted a two-run slalom at Mad River Glen on Friday, January 31. This was the teams' carnival meet and both of Harwood's teams skied away with top honors for the event. As the Harwood boys placed four skiers in the top seven and the Harwood girls placed four skiers in the top eight, it was another solid performance for both squads.
Freshman Austin Taylor led the Harwood boys with two solid runs to place third overall. Parker Herlihy, fourth, Hobey Weston, fifth, and Matt Crowell, seventh, gave the team a fine result. Junior Megan O'Shea led the Harwood girls in third overall with Mercedes Woolley fourth, Sophie Dasaro seventh and Maddie Lowe eighth. An equally fine day for the Harwood girls' team.
