On Saturday, September 7, Mad River Disc will host the fourth annual Mad Hatter Tournament at Brooks Field in Warren. Players of all abilities are welcome to join in a fun day of Ultimate Frisbee in The Valley with proceeds from the event benefitting the People's Health and Wellness Clinic of Central Vermont.
Sign-in for the Mad Hatter begins at 9 a.m. and games begin at 10 a.m. Teams will be determined the day of the event, and players can preregister at facebook.com/MadRiverDisc. The first 60 registrants will receive Mad Hatter T-shirts. For more information, email Andy McIntosh at
Mad River Disc builds community and encourages friendly competition by—in addition to hosting the Mad Hatter Tournament—hosting weekly Ultimate Frisbee pickup games throughout the year. Games take place on Mondays at 6 p.m. at Brooks Field in Warren and on Thursdays at noon at Flemer Field in Waitsfield.
