On Saturday, March 31, Green Mountain Valley School’s Hannah Utter won the Women's Children's Can Am giant slalom held at Sugarloaf, Maine; on Monday she continued by winning the slalom.

The Can Am series brings together the best skiers from the U.S. and Canada. The Children's Can Am series brings together the best J4s (11- to 12-year-olds) from the U.S. and Canada.

GMVS sent three girls and two boys to the Children`s Can Am held at Sugarloaf on March 31 and April 2. The giant slalom was held on Saturday, March 31, and the slalom was held Monday, April 2.

Hannah Utter finished first in the giant slalom and first in the slalom. Madeline Davis finished 20th in the GS and 25th in the slalom. Katie Queally finished 10th in the GS and 34th in the slalom.

On the men’s side, Nicholas Skovran finished 17th in the slalom and 27th in the GS.

Aedan Chiari finished 14th in the GS and 25th in the slalom.
