Playoffs
The fifth-place girls' softball team upset number-one ranked Lyndon to get a swing at the state championship title game to be held on Friday, June 11, at Veterans Memorial Field in Poultney at 7:30 p.m. against Lamoille. The Harwood boys' lacrosse team will get their first opportunity at a state championship against Rice after pounding U-32 on Tuesday at home 13-8. The game will be held at Burlington High School at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Came up short
The boys' and girls' tennis team came up short in quarterfinal playoffs on Friday. The boys lost to Brattleboro to finish the season 8 and 4 and the girls lost to Springfield at the Bridges with some well-fought matches and finished their season with a 5 and 7 record. The boys' baseball team finished their season with a 13 and 4 record after losing a tough one to South Burlington in the playoffs.
