Streeter held an undefeated record this year taking the first-place title in the 210-pound weight class. Pearsall held a 20-0 record, taking first in the 190-pound weight class. Pearsall is a returning state champ, having placed first in the youth championships in the heavyweight division last year. Both Streeter and Pearsall will represent Vermont in the New England regional competition being held in Hudson, Massachusetts, on March 8.
Teammate Ryan Haskins, of Waterbury, seventh-grader at Crossett Brook Middle School, placed fifth in the state in the 210-pound weight class.
