James Ehlers, the publisher emeritus of Outdoors Magazine, is chair of the 13-member committee charged with developing such a plan. In order to gain valuable input from the public, Ehlers is asking interested people to respond to the question:
"If you were in charge of ANR's Department of Fish and Wildlife, what 10 points would your revitalization plan include?"
The purpose of the task force is to make a series of recommendations to ANR Secretary George Crombie that can form the basis of a business plan that would enhance hunting and fishing activities in Vermont. The committee is expected to conclude its work by October.
