Close on his heels was Jon Arne Enevoldsen with a time of 2.21.09. Enevoldsen's run was faster--he came in at 29.28 for the five-mile course--but his water time was longer, 59.05. Behind him came Chris Mallory with a time of 2.22.37.

Jennifer Hughes was the fastest ironwoman competitor with a time of 3.28.53. She was followed by Karlyn Darling with a time of 3.44.13 and Laura Hanrahan with a time of 3.46.27.
The iron athletes competed in a field of teams during the annual Sugarbush Adventure Games on April 7. In the team results, Vermont Waterways/Skirack came in first with a time of 2.02.08. They were followed by Team X-Ray with a time of 2.04.21 and The Dancing Bears with a time of 2.11.08. (Full results by race class are available on the Sugarbush website at Sugarbush.com.)
The triathlon was followed on Sunday, April 9, with a kids' triathlon that attracted dozens of young athletes ready to try their hand at the course set up at Mount Ellen. Kids' results are as follows:
