Conditions were truly unconventional for Mad River Glen’s Junior Unconventional Terrain Competition on January 27, according to marketing director Eric Friedman.
“We had some really challenging conditions in terms of terrain and snow conditions this year,” he said, noting that despite the conditions the event sold out with 65 boys and 35 girls participating.
“We had great club representation for the event with clubs from Sugarbush, Stowe, Smugglers’ Notch and Cannon here,” he added.
The event is a qualifier for the Ski the East Freeride Tour.
