Sugarbush Resort is hosting the fifth stop in the Eastern States Cup East Coast Showdown series Friday, August 19, through Sunday, August 21. The series features both enduro and downhill mountain bike races with a combined cash and prize purse of $3,200.

The event begins on Friday, with on-site registration running 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The course is open to downhill and enduro riders from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Saturday, on-site registration runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enduro registration runs 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.; downhill registration runs 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The enduro race begins at 10 a.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Downhill practice is permitted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Sunday’s downhill registration runs from 9 to 10 a.m. The downhill race kicks off at 11:30 a.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 3:30 p.m.

The top three men and women in the amateur and pro categories who race in both the enduro and downhill races will make the podium, earning cash and prizes. There is an amateur Clif kids class for competitors ages 14 and under.

Registration pricing ranges depend on age, event and category. The lowest prices are available by advance registration. Free camping for all participants is available in Lot F at Lincoln Peak.
