Robert L. Stanclift, 66, of Peru, NY, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He lost his battle to cancer. Robert was born on January 9, 1947, the son of Walter and Helena (Emmons) Stanclift. He's survived by Carol Stanclift of Lake Placid, NY, and their three children, Robert Stanclift Jr. of Nebraska, Craig Stanclift of Clifton Park, NY, and Tucker Stanclift, of Glens Falls, NY; Marcia Brooks Stanclift of Warren, VT, and their two children, Chad Stanclift of Fayston, VT, and Chelsea Stanclift of Warren, VT.
Robert was well known for his startup business at Valley Masonry in Warren for 19 years. He belonged to the Masons and the Elks Club. He shared his love of skiing, sailing, fishing, hunting and hockey with his children. At Robert's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service at this time.
