Michael David Quevedo Sr., 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waterbury Center on Friday evening, March 8, 2013. Born on April 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Apariceo and Marcelina (Diaz) Quevedo. On April 10, 1973, he married the former Maria Mancini in Derby, CT.
Michael is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Maria Quevedo of Waterbury Center; their children, Michael Quevedo Jr. of Waterbury Center, Richard Quevedo and his wife, Jennifer, of Stowe, and Andy Quevedo of Richmond; two granddaughters, Lilly Quevedo and Evita Lever; as well as extended family in Italy.
Friends are invited to Michael and Maria’s home, 1843 Shaw Mansion Road in Waterbury Center, from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, for a time to reflect and celebrate Michael’s life.
