John Fletcher Huntsman II, “Jack,” of Falmouth, MA (formerly of Rockport), born October 22, 1934, passed away peacefully at Falmouth Hospital on May 27, 2011. Jack was a retired criminal attorney having practiced in Essex and Barnstable Counties.
He is survived by his longtime partner and best friend, Marianne White of Falmouth (formerly of Needham); children Elizabeth Huntsman of Gloucester, Johnna Cooke of Rockport, and Malcolm Cooke of Brookline, and was the beloved grandfather of Madelyn Cooke. Jack is also survived by brothers Paul (Sandy) of New Jersey and Stanley (and Elizabeth) Walker of Vermont.
He was a graduate of The Hill School, Brown University and New England College of Law, a teacher at Moses Brown School, a wrestling coach at Brown University and Harwood Union High School and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He was inducted into the NE Hall of Fame (VT Wrestling) 2011, was an accomplished “Star” boat sailor, volunteered at Falmouth Hospital and Penikese Island School and was active in the Falmouth Senior Center.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 11 a.m., at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Main Street (Route 28) Falmouth, MA. Family and friends are invited.

Burial will be private at later date.
