Wayne Gordon Dow, 56, of South Main Street, Waterbury, passed away
unexpectedly at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin on Tuesday,
October 26, 2010. Born in Montpelier on October 16, 1954, he was the
son of the late Edmund R. and Norma Mae (Casey) Dow Sr. Wayne was
previously married to Sabrina Parker.
Wayne attended Harwood Union High School in Duxbury. In earlier years,
he worked for Milo Marshall as a heavy equipment operator and then later
was employed by A.G. Anderson Concrete as a laborer.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron # 59 in
Waterbury. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Wayne is survived by his companion, Regena Ramsdell of Waterbury; his
children, Lindsey Dow of Anderson, NC, Erica Dow of Hyde Park, and Jacob
Dow of Wolcott;
three sisters, Carol Parry of Marshfield, Lillian Perry of Waterbury,
and Clara Taft of Wilton, NY; four brothers, David Dow of Waterbury
Center, Charlie Dow of Burlington, Mike Dow of Waterbury, and Randy Dow
of Moretown; his two best friends, Chuck Worden and Mike Byrd; as well
as many nieces and nephews. A sister, Ramona Culver, and a brother,
Edmund Dow Jr., predeceased Wayne.
Memorial services will be held from the Waterbury American Legion on
Friday, October 29, 2010, at 11 a.m. The family requests that flowers be
