Jeannine Quenneville, 85, formerly of Moretown, passed away on June
23, 2010, at the Fletcher Allen Hospital. She was born in Pike River,
Canada, on December 23, 1924, to Phillippe and Marie Louise Rocheleau.
Jeannine was a homemaker and an avid seamstress most noted for her
colorful monogrammed quilts. She loved to share her knowledge of
quilting with her friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo and rooting
for the Red Sox.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1971; two brothers,
Rosaire and Joseph Rocheleau; and three sisters, Bernadette Le Clair,
Lucille Boyer and Yvette Soutiere.
She is survived by her seven children: Pauline and Gary LeBoeuf of
Moretown, Helen and Will Wheatley of Milton, Cecile Vien of Williston,
Monique and Steve Curran of Georgia, Michael Quenneville and Patti of
Fayston, David and Vicky Quenneville of Fayston, and Tom and Kim
Quenneville of Duxbury.
She is survived by 18 grandchildren: Tim and Tracie LeBeouf, Kelly and
Brad Reagan, Scott and Laurie Wheatley, Lisa and Keith Robinson, Wendy
and Chris Trapeni, Amy Vien, Diane and Ethan Poitras, Julie Ashline,
Paul and Jennifer Lavallee, Benjamin Curran, Joshua Curran, Lindsay
Quenneville, Taylor Quenneville, Heidi Quenneville, Joseph and Caitlin
Quenneville, Ira Quenneville, Cody Quenneville and Megan and Justin
Elliott.
She is survived by 22 great-grandchildren: Luke LeBoeuf, Lane LeBoeuf,
Abby Reagan, Chase Reagan, Eliza Wheatley, Kayla Robinson, Haley
Trapeni, Rachel Trapeni, Brooke Trapeni, Peyton Trapeni, Jacob Poitras,
Alycia Poitras, Ashley Langlois, Taylor Ashline, Levi Ashline, Morgan
Lavallee, Dylan Lavallee, Lauren Lavallee, Mason Quenneville, Dominic
Elliott, Damien Elliott and Natalia Elliott.
She is survived by one sister, Theresa Audette of Lake Wales, Florida.
The funeral is 10 a.m. on July 1, 2010, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic
Church in Winooski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
charity of choice.
