Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 43. She leaves behind her precious family including her husband, Tiger Baird, with whom she has celebrated 14 years of marriage and their three terrific children, Andrew, Alex and Carleigh; her dear parents, Carl and Maryan; her sister, Barbie; five big brothers; and a large extended, loving family. A myriad of friends also grieve her physical death but rejoice knowing she is now worshipping Jesus Christ forever.

Erin's life was transformed in March of 1999 when she realized her sin rightly condemned her and she sought forgiveness and transformation of her heart through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Her new life as a follower of Christ started then and was filled with lasting satisfaction, meaningfulness and joy. In 2001 Erin was diagnosed with breast cancer and she purposely used all of those experiences as opportunities to grow closer to Christ as He transformed weakness, anxiety and fear into confidence and reliance in His perfect will for her life. She's grateful for the spiritual growth that resulted from her arduous journey and the many opportunities to share Christ with others that cancer afforded her. By God's grace she deliberately let go of wanting more time on earth and was satisfied with what God has been satisfied to give her. She enjoyed traveling and adventuring with her children and husband, and relished the many pleasant days they enjoyed together over the years.

A service celebrating Erin's life will be held from Christ Memorial Church, 1033 Essex Road in Williston, on Saturday, July 11, at 2 p.m. An opportunity to share special recollections from Erin's life and faith will be part of the service. Erin has asked that flowers be omitted; rather for those who wish to make gifts in her memory, might direct them to Tiger Baird, 123 Baird Lane, Waitsfield, VT 05673, for the care of their children, or consider giving to the Gospel ministry of Christ Memorial Church, 999 Essex Road, Williston, VT 05495, who loved and served her for a decade.
