Audrey J. Brown, 62, of Granville, passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, on Thursday, February 8, 2007. Born in Barre on October 15, 1944, she was the daughter of Jessamine (Bettis) Larrow and the late Everett M. "Jack" Larrow. In June 1966, she married Roland N. Brown who predeceased her in 1977.
Audrey attended Waitsfield High School. Following her marriage, she was busy raising their two sons and was a homemaker most of her life. In her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, liquid embroidery, arts and crafts, camping and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Jessamine Larrow of Waitsfield; her two sons, Anthony Brown of Granville and Timothy Brown of Hancock; two grandchildren; a sister, Sherry Larrow of Waitsfield; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by a brother, Terry E. Larrow.
A service of remembrance was held from the Waitsfield United Church of Christ on Wednesday, February 14, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the church dining room. Later burial will take place in Granville. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association, 172 North Main Street, Barre, VT 05641-4124. The Perkins-Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Waterbury is assisting the family.
