Beverly May Burbank, 69, of Waitsfield, died Wednesday, January, 24, 2007, at the Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin.

Born on February 11, 1937, in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Arnold Willey.  She attended Plainfield Elementary School and High School.

On January 30, 1958, she married James Norris Burbank in Barre. They would reside in Greenville, MS, Chandler, AZ, and Myrtle Beach, SC, before returning to Plainfield in 1966. In 1972, they moved to Waitsfield. He died August 9, 1999.
    
In earlier years, she had worked with her husband and father-in-law for Burbank Dry Wood in Waitsfield.  For nearly 20 years, she was employed by Mehuron's Supermarket in Waitsfield.

Beverly liked to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed puzzles, sewing, knitting, crocheting, flower gardening, and her daughter's dog, "Nakita."

Survivors include two sons, Arnold "Bub" Burbank and his wife, Deborah, of Waitsfield and Robert Burbank of South Hero; two daughters, Debra Burbank of Waitsfield and Sandra Burbank of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, Benjamin Burbank, Timothy Burbank, Sara Duffina, Sabrina Burbank, and Natasha Burbank; a brother and a sister; nephew and nieces, Greg and his wife, Ginny; Peggy and her husband, Jim; and Lisa and her husband, Robert.

She was predeceased by a brother, Nelson Willey.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Berlin Corner Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.
