Mary R. Brunetto
Mary R. Brunetto,age 90, peacefully passed away Saturday May, 11, 2024.
Loving mother and grandmother, Mary was born May 8, 1934, in New York, NY, to the late Maria Mannino and Rosario Brunetto of Granite, Sicily. Mary was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut, moving to the Mad River Valley, Waitsfield area, then to Grandway Commons, South Burlington Independent living where she enjoyed community activities with cherished friends.
Her greatest and precious joy was her grandchildren and her family. Mary was a grandmother, (gram) great-grandmother (Nuna) and great-great-grandmother (Nana). Proud to have had five generations of love.
Mary is survived by her daughter Agnes and husband Keith Perellie, son Joseph Brunetto. Loved to pieces by her three grandchildren Jennifer, Karen and Nancy. Her four great-grandchildren, Justin, Elizabeth, Lilyana, and Jonah. Her two great- great-grandchildren Evie and Isabella.
Predeceased by her husband Carmelo, siblings Micheal, Frank, Paul and Josephine. She is survived by her sister Jenny Vasta of Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend Mary’s funeral Mass on Tuesday May 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church 305 Flynn Ave. Burlington, VT 05401.
Burial will be private at St. Michael's Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 in honor of Mary.
