Anne Barstow Griswold of Naples, FL, and Fayston, VT, passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 98.
Anne was passionate about the outdoors and sports, particularly tennis and golf, and was a longtime homeowner and skier at Mad River Glen. She and her husband, Hector Griswold, were founding members of the Mad River Tennis Club and were active in the Sugarbush Golf Club and the Amateur Ski Club of New York as well. Anne enjoyed attending the many summer cultural events offered in The Valley and beyond including the Vermont Mozart Festival and performances by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Hector Griswold, in 2006. She is survived by her stepson, Hector W. Griswold Jr. of Hopewell, NJ, stepdaughter Penelope Parson of Brooklin, ME, and Fayston, VT, and three step-grandchildren.
