LCDR, MSC Leonard Jackson Julius, U.S. Navy Ret., 81, passed away August 31, 2022, at Carteret Healthcare in Morehead City, NC. He was born October 14, 1940, in Bronx, NY, a son of the late Ellen Stechenburg Julius.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Lenny faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired at the rank of LCDR. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by wife, Irene Julius of the home; son, Adam Julius and his wife Tracy of VT; daughter, Dena Bettis of Stella; granddaughter, Sydney Julius of VT; sister, Gail Julius of NJ.
