Maria Lynn Richardson passed away on June 9, 2022, at 12:29 p.m., surrounded by friends and family, from a short but quick battle with cancer.
She was born in Montpelier, VT, on January 20, 1964. Maria was raised in Randolph, VT, attending Randolph Union High and later residing in Waitsfield, VT.
Maria was a frequent bingo player and gained enjoyment out of card games, board games the Hallmark channel, cooking shows, “Survivor,” and most of all camping with her brother Robbie.
Being honored by so many, Maria made a major impact to those who were like a sister to her and those who she took the honor of being like a mother and an aunt for. Maria was predeceased by her mother Joan Hoyt, father Burke Richardson, brothers Brian and Kevin Richardson, and her great-granddaughter Ashtyn Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Richardson, her brothers Robert Richardson, Burton Richardson, Doug Rice, and sister Cindy Taylor. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mariah, Tianna, Arianna, Jayden, Jaylyn, great-grandson Arien and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled for July 29 at 309 Verdmont Road, Lot 10, Waitsfield, VT, at 3 p.m.
