Edda Katharina Carbone born on July 2, 1938, and passed away on December 9, 2021. How do you sum up someone’s life in a few sentences? How do you capture all she was and accomplished? She was a strong and amazing woman -- that would be said by all. Growing up an orphan in Germany during World War II, she came to the states as a young adult to make a life for herself and raised two girls on her own. She battled so many health issues and she did it all with such strength. She never ceased to amaze us! She had so many great adventures. She lived life her way and if you didn’t like it too bad, and she would tell you like it is. She was loved by so many and will be missed greatly! Survived by her daughter Tanya and her husband Todd; daughter Athena and her husband Rob; her granddaughter Katie her husband Jeff; and great-granddaughter Leona; and her granddaughter Robin. We will love her always and forever!
She loved animals and would be pleased if you would make a donation to an animal charity in her memory.
She is free now. Rest in peace, you crazy German. XO
