Evelyn Bisbee Teerlinck of Hendersonville, NC, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Alphonse Teerlinck and parents, Phillip Emerson Bisbee and Margaret Lee (Henry) Bisbee as well as her two older sisters, Margaret Jean Thompson (Bisbee) Marion Lee Henderson (Bisbee).
Eve was born and raised on her parent's farm in Waitsfield, VT. She graduated from Waitsfield High School and went on to obtain an associate's degree from Kents Hill in Maine. After college graduation she moved to Rochester, NY, where she worked as a secretary for AETNA until retirement. In Rochester, Eve met who was to be her partner and husband for over 40 years, "Bob." In the 1980s, they moved to Horse Shoe, NC, after retirement where they could enjoy their mutual passion for golf and appreciate the beauty of the North Carolina landscape. Eve enjoyed visiting and learning about covered bridges, had an excellent work ethic and was fiercely independent. She was a valued volunteer for the United Way of Henderson County, NC, and the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Hendersonville, NC. Eve is survived by multiple nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly as well as her very good friend Nancy Koski of Hendersonville, NC.
