Gloria Jean (Pierce) Clark (Glo, GoGo), 68, of Roxbury, formerly of Waitsfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 22, 2019, at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. Funeral service will be held at Waitsfield United Church of Christ on Saturday October 5, 2019, at 2 p.m.
Gloria was born in Burlington, VT, to Daniel and Isabelle (Alger) Pierce on August 16, 1951. She grew up in Huntington, VT, where she met her husband of 50 years, Andrew Clark of Salisbury, VT. They moved to the Mad River Valley to raise their family.
She was the Village Grocery deli manager for many years. She loved going to the beach, softball bingo, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Gloria is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Isabelle Pierce; her two brothers, Daniel and William Pierce; and her granddaughter, Courtney Jean Luce. She is survived by her husband, Andrew; her children, Jamie and Tina Clark, Carol and Jeff Luce, and Chris Clark; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zebulon Nauceder, William Clark, Heather Clark, Lillian Clark, Colbey Clark, Ingrid Clark, Kamden Clark, Kent, Kara and Curtis; her sisters Ruth, Linda, Betty, Shirley and Helen; her brother, Henry; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
