Carmen J. Barone passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019, at the age of 79.
Carmen was born and raised in Lynn, MA, and later resided in Moretown and Newport, VT. After serving in the Navy, he was employed as an electrician for many years at the City of Lynn Wastewater Treatment Plant and then was superintendent of operations at the South Essex Water Treatment Plant in Salem.
Carmen was the son of the late Carney Barone and widow of Alba (Luciani) Barone and is survived by children, Joseph Barone and his wife Marie of Lynn, Marie Wolfe and her husband Daniel of Lee, N.H., and John Barone of Lynn. Carmen had five grandchildren, Anthony Barone, Stephen Barone, Nina Barone, Allora Craig, Jordan Stinson; and one great-grandchild, Enzo Barone.
