Robert “Robby” J. Majors, 22, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Warren on Monday, December 12, 2016. Born in Fresno, CA, on February 5, 1994, he was the son of Robert Lee Majors and Barbara A. (Demkovich) Majors.
Robby moved to the Mad River Valley in 2010 and completed his education at Harwood Union High School, graduating in 2013. After attending Landmark College in Putney, Robby was employed in facilities maintenance at Sugarbush Resort, worked in the kitchen at The Pitcher Inn in Warren, was self-employed doing landscaping and most recently was part of the facilities team at the Inn at Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield.
Robby loved to skateboard and snowboard, he enjoyed reading and writing short stories and was at home in the outdoors exploring the nature and beauty of the Mad River Valley with his friends.
Robby is survived by his parents, Barbara A. Majors and her fiancé Rocco Orsini of Warren and Robert Lee Majors of Fresno, CA; his maternal grandparents, Patricia Demkovich of Columbus, OH, and Robert Demkovich of Merced, CA; his paternal grandmother, Noreen Frankfort of Clovis, CA; uncles, Patrick (Kathy) Demkovich of Columbus, OH, David (Jen) Demkovich of Ketchum, Idaho, and Richard Majors of Fresno, CA; aunt, Shawn (David) Henson of Fresno, CA; and cousin, Koryn Naylor of Columbus, OH.
Memorial services will be held from the Round Barn Farm, 1661 East Warren Road in Waitsfield, on December 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
