Ian McCullough ObitIan Wardwell McCullough, 56, of Waterbury, VT, died tragically on October 24, 2016, after suffering from a long illness.

Ian was born in Norwalk, CT, on October 7, 1960. He grew up in Rowayton, CT. He played football for and graduated from Brian McMahon High School in 1979.

He moved shortly thereafter to Vermont and made the Stowe-Waterbury area his home.

Ian was a master carpenter who ran his own construction company for many years and was a former member of the Waterbury Fire Department.

He is survived by his sons, Croy, 23, and Tyler, 20; his former wife, Dindah Schue-McCullough of Colorado Springs, CO; his mother, Joan Taylor; sister, Robin McCullough; and her children, Sage and Hayden of Fairfield, CT.

Ian will be deeply missed. He was a kind, loving, generous man who cared dearly for his family and friends.

There will be a gathering in Ian's honor at Zen (formerly Tanglewood’s Restaurant) in Waterbury on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at noon.
