Donna Lee Stone, 73, of Louisville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016. In her younger years, she was employed by Weyerhauser Company in Hancock, Vermont, before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1980.
Donna had a love for children and became a child care provider for several years. In later years, she was a housekeeper for a local hotel in Knoxville. Donna loved her flowers and was a great cook but most of all cherished her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Roy (Marion) Shepard; and niece, Rhonda O’Neil. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Albert Stone; children, Bryan (Lee) Stone of Waitsfield, Vermont, Martin R. Stone of Madisonville, Tennessee, and Albert E. Stone Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Shana Stone of Bethel, Vermont, Michael Stone of Madisonville, Tennessee, Jacob Stone of Madisonville, Tennessee, Anita Stone of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Haden Lucas “Luke” Stone of Sevierville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Havyn Stone of Bethel, Vermont, and Olivia Stone of Madisonville, Tennessee; sisters, Jean Coleman of Waitsfield, Vermont, and Jane Pierce of Northfield, Vermont; nephews, Larry Pierce of Waitsfield, Vermont, Sydney Coleman of Huntington, Vermont; and a host of other family.
