Linda J. Hall, 72, Waitsfield. On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, Linda passed peacefully after a long battle with COPD.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Donald (Slim) Drinkwine and Pauline (Touchette) Drinkwine.
Linda graduated from Stowe High School in 1962 and worked at Stoweware and the Vermont State Hospital.
Linda met and married Dennis (Babe) Hall and both worked for Property Maintenance Co. for many years before starting their own business. It didn’t take long for them to establish a reputation of being trustworthy and dependable hard workers.
Linda and Babe enjoyed many years of fishing and boating at their “condo” in North Hero and Alburg. Linda also enjoyed being with family and friends.
Linda is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 51 years, Babe Hall; her daughters, Dawn Armstrong and Denise Hall; her brother, Donald (Rocky) Drinkwine; brother-in-law, John (Sonny) Hall and fiancé Wendy; beloved grandson, Joshua Rogers and wife Morgan; great-grandchildren, Amaya, Piper and Dylan; nieces and nephew and their families, Cass, Sonja, Chad, Catina and Cayle.
Linda’s wishes were for a private family service.
She would like donations made to research on ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) or COPD Foundation in lieu of flowers.
