Curtis P. Wright, 81, prior resident of Waitsfield, Vermont, who lived in St. James City, Florida, died March 8, 2016, at Cape Coral Hospital, Cape Coral, Florida. He was a graduate of Manhasset High School, Manhasset, New York, and Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
Curt was a product manager for oil pollution control products at Johns Manville in New York City, later moving to Waitsfield where he and his wife Barbara lived for 26 years. He became an auctioneer, founded and operated the Waterbury Flea Market for many years, owned antique shops (with partner Malcolm Reiss), owned and operated an answering/business service and enjoyed coaching Little League, racing R/C sailboats in Stowe, traveling to regattas all over the country and he was active in the Valley Players for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara (nee Brown) Wright.
