Pamela Neal of Fayston died on February 17, 2015, at Central Vermont Medical Center, surrounded by friends and clergy following a long illness. Pam had moved to Vermont from New Jersey following a career in electronic engineering and consulting. She taught courses at Centenary College as an adjunct faculty member and had a Ph.D. in engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Pam was an avid reader and she enjoyed discussions on what she was reading, particularly suspense fiction and nonfiction on history and current topics. She was devoted to her pets, Annabelle, Albert, Amanda and Andrew, and was a supporter of Poodle Rescue of Vermont. Flowers are welcome, or donations in her memory may be made to Poodle Rescue of Vermont, Central Vermont Cancer Center, St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church or an animal charity of choice.
Pam's funeral service will be held at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, which meets at Founders Hall, 6307 Main Street (Route 100), Waitsfield, on February 28, 2015, at 11 a.m.
