Meredith M. Holzer passed away peacefully on October 11, 2014, at Vermont Respite House, ending a long and heroic battle with Parkinson's disease. Her husband of 62 and a half years, Austin, was by her side. A celebration of Meredith's life will be held at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington, 152 Pearl Street, Saturday, November 1, at 2 p.m., with a reception following the service.
Meredith is survived by her husband, Austin; her son, Marshall D. Holzer and daughter, Alison H. Duckworth, along with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Meredith will be deeply missed.
