Thank goodness I did not do that. For over five months I have been
dealing with a host of issues and answers that were not consistent from
individuals with poor customer service skills. Finally in early August
I was asked if the AT&T van could use our lot to park a vehicle
there for a few hours. I told the woman politely that I have had quite
a time with her company and that if she could resolve my above phone
issues that I would be happy to have them here and she told me that she
would take care of things.
Imagine my surprise, when their van rolled into town that Tuesday
morning hitting our gas sign, knocking off our moose antlers and
parking themselves right by our free air tower! The AT&T van I
found out was there to try and up-sell Unicel customers to the new
AT&T service; however, the six to eight customers that I spoke to
were there to complain about their poor AT&T service.
I gave them until 1:30 p.m. to resolve my issue once and for all and at
1:30 p.m., unable and unwilling to meet me halfway, I asked them to
leave. My grandmother once said that fool me once, shame on you, fool
me twice, shame on me. It's a shame that our own Waitsfield Telecom is
not in the cell phone business, I am sure that they could teach those
big boys a thing or two about customer service and to treat people with
decency. If you are still having some AT&T issues I can only offer
