During this summer's Localvore farm and garden tour series, community members are invited to come interact with their local food system by building relationships, learning new skills and experiencing the food coming out of this valley. Tours and workshops are hosted by local farmers, gardeners, food producers and community members who are interested in sharing skills and knowledge. "By learning from each other, a truly sustainable and local food system is possible," said Mad River Localvore spokesperson Lisa Barnes.
