As warm weather returns to Vermont, the rebuilding efforts after Tropical Storm Irene are back in full swing. Hundreds of Vermont families and communities are still struggling with the consequences of Irene's damage. What better way to help than to band together while enjoying music and American Flatbread!

Stephanie Lynn, folk singer-songwriter from Montpelier, will be touring from the West Coast to the Northeast making a Vermont appearance to help the residents of the Mad River Valley. The event is a benefit concert Saturday, June 1, from 5 to 9 p.m. The event will be held at the Lareau Farm on Route 100 in Waitsfield. Lynn and her band will be joined by a collection of local musicians: the bluesy-folk sounds of Colleen Mari, folk-ska artist Louie Brown and roots reggae band Soulstice. All proceeds will go to the Mad River Long Term Recovery Fund to aid in the continuing efforts to rebuild after Irene's extensive damage.

The benefit concert on June 1 is an all-ages event with a suggested donation. Kids under 13 get in free; there is a reduced suggested donation for students.
